Going to a studio would be best, but the closest one that teaches the type I want to try, Bikram Yoga, is sixty-five miles away, not really a daily commute for me. Years ago, I bought a book, Bikram's Beginning Yoga Class describing the poses that is easy to follow.
Bikram Choudry, the creator, is kind of controversial and you can find people who dislike him and his yoga practice, but I know that I almost immediately noticed improvements in my body when I practiced it for only a couple of weeks.
Hopefully I can stay motivated doing it by myself as I really want to become more fit. I came across a video this morning that is sooo inspiring. If this guy can stick with a yoga routine (he doesn't do Bikram yoga) to overcome his severe disabilities, I ought to be able to merely tone a body that's spent way too much time in front of the computer the last few years. Plus there are many other documented health benefits of yoga.
Check this out if only for some inspiration today.
Wow! I almost cried when I watched it.
Okay, I'm off to my first yoga session. Wish me luck.

Best of luck you're in charge, do it.
Mind over body. That's what it takes to develop a new routine, as I'm sure you well know.
What you're doing is so worth it. Cheering you on. . .

Two of me saying the same thing twice. . .
Huh! How'd that happen?
