I took this shot out our bedroom window as the sun rose.
Then Tom, who had gotten up earlier, told me he had something to show me. He had seen the heart shaped snow patch earlier. It's cool how we notice the same things so often.
This afternoon I went out and took a picture of the heart shaped knot holes in the fence behind my garden.
Then I decided to make a valentine.
I laid a red doily that I made a couple years ago on a lacy table covering that I found at a yard sale last summer and added a few of our heart rocks. I just found the large one this afternoon.
Abbie and Hazel say, "Good job Mom."
Yesterday, we were in a pawn shop buying a table saw, of all things, when the guy behind the counter asked Tom if he had ordered valentine's day flowers. (I'm not sure how the subject came up.)
Tom told him how lucky he is that I'm not into that kind of thing. It's true. Neither of us are really holiday celebrating people. It can be fun and all, but we don't feel the need to buy stuff on certain days.
Lastly:
Yesterday evening Tom and I went out to do chores at sunset.
We looked up and saw the most incredible thing.
I sprinted to the house for my camera.
Can you believe this cloud?
Have you ever seen anything like this before?
Isn't this the most amazing cloud formation?

I think every girl likes her man to show appreciation on Valentine's day, even if we don't really celebrate it. It's nice to have little tokens of appreciation... like heart rocks on a red doily.
That cloud is truly unique and amazing. I've noticed some of the et con trails lately that have become a series of smoke rings; what's going on up there? It's kind of like a touch of the Master's Hand.
I "heart" this post. There's no need for fancy paper and meticulously honed verses when you have these gems.
If I saw clouds as incredible as the ones shown here, I'd never look away. I simply love clouds and these are truly amazing.
No, I've never seen clouds like that. They are stunning and beautiful! I like to hear a meteorological explanation for that!
